I am a licensed Landscape Architect in the states of Idaho and New York. With over 25 years of experience in the design and construction industry, I understand how to successfully guide clients through the project process from start to finish. As a design professional, my job is to help you create the landscape that is the right fit for your style, needs and personality. I'm not only here to help turn your ideas into reality, but to make it an enjoyable experience every step of the way. No matter where you are in the planning process, I can help you envision and achieve your dreams. From landscape beautification to permaculture, I can help you make your home, business or organization's property a place of greater value and enjoyment. The following is an example of the types of services that I offer.

SITE ASSESSMENT: Walk your property to gain firsthand knowledge of the opportunities and constraints that the land offers. Factors considered include existing plants, terrain features, water access, drainage areas, soil types, access and solar exposure.

MASTER PLANNING: Developing a plan that locates all future property improvements in order to select their location in a thoughtful integrated manner, which avoids costly mistakes.

LANDSCAPE DESIGN: Creating custom plans for hardscape (walkways, patios, etc.) and plant materials tailored to meet your specific needs and goals. The selection, placement and detailing of each element should work in concert with all of the others and be in harmony with your structures and the surrounding environment.

NATIVE LANDSCAPE DESIGN: Using a palette of native plants to create landscapes that harmonize with the local environment, create wildlife habitat and visually blend into the natural context of the project location.

EDIBLE LANDSCAPE DESIGN: Similar to traditional landscape design, but with the use of edible plants that offer the dual benefit of providing beautiful form while also providing a practical function.

PERMACULTURE CONSULTING: Providing recommendations on the approach, selection, placement and life cycle use of plant materials and supporting infrastructure in the pursuit of developing a more sustainable and resilient property.

WATER RIGHTS: Permitting assistance is offered to help clients complete the water rights application process in a thoughtful and efficient manner that reduces State agency review time.

STORMWATER MANAGEMENT: Evaluating and design integrated solutions to address stormwater challenges associated with property improvement and/or permitting requirements.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Acting as the owner's representative to oversee budget, schedule and quality in an oversight role with the contractors and/or other design professionals.
